Our Bohemian Gentleman's Lounge Transformation - In an Abandoned French Farmhouse

Having a bohemian gentleman's lounge in a French farmhouse was never our intention. Our tastes differed, in pallet, texture and style. Both of us however were easily swayed by the interiors of many local chateaux.

We had some common ground that we could build on, in that we both loved antique French furniture, Chesterfield leather sofa's and huge stone fireplaces. A Gentleman's lounge didn't 100% meet the natural style of the room or our tastes but we can create a organic, Bohemian blend of Art Deco, french farmhouse and Gentleman's lounge.

Creating paneled walls from scratch is a challenge, one that is certainly testing our abilities. Especially with the pressures of winter looming.

It's been slow and Autumn is definitely here; storms have been battering the windows and temperatures dropped rapidly. We need the log burner up and running quickly.
