Teaching our children ‘how the world works,’ then discovering it’s all wrong…because ‘acceptable norms’ can be different around the world. Being open to exploring these ‘different norms’ can bring joy and wisdom in daily life, but on a broader level opens our minds to embracing new ideas that are life-enriching.
Michelle Red is a speaker on multicultural topics. She has lived in South Africa, Germany, UAE, China and the USA and is fascinated by the insights she has gleaned living in different cultures. Her social media channels Multicultural Musings look into the fun ‘Quirky-Mundane’ things she has discovered during her travels, but also touch on more serious topics like intercultural marriages and recycling habits around the world. Michelle also created the Expat 101 podcast giving practical advice to first time expats embarking on their global adventures.
