At the heart of the Thames Valley music scene, The Jericho Tavern is mostly synonymous with the rise of Radiohead whereby they played their first ever gig under the name 'On A Friday'. RIDE started here, The Candyskins, Foals, Supergrass, Dustball, Tulalah Gosh, Five Thirty, Hurricane#1. I paid a visit in 2019 when I saw Ride play a homecoming show in the Oxford Town Hall
