Before Jeff Dunham there was ventriloquist Paul Winchell who entertained kids with his sidekick Jerry Mahoney for six seasons on "The Paul Winchell and Jerry Mahoney Show". The man was also a genius inventor and provided voices for many beloved cartoon characters until his death in 2005. One viewing of this show and you could tell he had a great love for children.
