Factory Winding : Transforming Rigid Slope Nets into Portable Rolls
In the video, a factory worker operates a simple machine to roll up a large flexible protective net. These nets are used on slopes ("passive slope protection") to catch falling rocks. Rolling them tightly into compact bundles makes the nets much easier and safer to transport to remote mountain sites. The worker carefully feeds the net between two discs on a spinning shaft, creating a manageable roll. This compact roll protects the net during shipping and simplifies handling at the construction site.
