Donald Trump has lost all of his patience with Republicans in the Senate for not yet passing his “big, beautiful bill,” even though they have had the bill in their Chamber for a month. Trump is now demanding that they lock themselves inside of a room together until they can all agree on a version of the bill to immediately pass. And in fact, a very panicked and angry Donald Trump got on truth social this week to issue a very stark warning to Republicans in both the Senate and the House. 'cause you're gonna have to go through the reconciliation process there. Uh, Trump issued a warning to them that none of you are going to take any vacation. None of you get any time off until you get this thing on my desk. Here is what Trump said Now that we have made peace abroad, alright, we're gonna go ahead and stop right there. Where, where, where, where did you make peace from? Not hitting, Iran's nuclear, uh, facilities. I mean, from not destroying their uranium from them immediately, not them, but actually, uh, Netanyahu immediately breaking the ceasefire agreement, right?

Is that how you made peace? What did Russia suddenly like, leave Ukraine and say, Hey, we're really sorry about all this. There there is no, you didn't do anything. You're starting it with a lie. You're just gaslighting us from the start. So I'm sure the rest of this is gonna be even worse. We must finish the job here at home by passing the great big, beautiful bill and getting the bill to my desk asap. It will be a historic present for the great people of the United States of America as we begin the celebration of our country's 250th birthday.

This piece of legislation is statistically one of the least popular pieces of legislation that has ever been introduced in Congress. A vast majority of the American public hates this legislation and does not want it to pass. So Trump out there saying like, the American people need this. The American people hate it. Approval rating of it. People hate it and do not want to see it become a reality. It's so bad that political analysts on both the left and the right are predicting that this is going to cost Republicans significantly in next year's midterms to the point where we could be looking at a blue wave that dwarfs what we saw in the year 2018. That's how bad this legislation is, that Trump is demanding they pass. So why does he want it to pass if everybody hates it and it's going to wreck the economy? The answer to that is actually quite simple, and it has nothing to do with Donald Trump, you know, wanting what's in it.
