Not only is Metallica an iconic metal band, but they are also World Record holders. In 2013 Metallica became the first band to play concerts on all seven continents in the same year. They performed in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and, yes, even Antarctica. The show in Antarctica was performed for a group of scientists and competition winners. The record was recorded by Guinness in 2015. The band Fall Out Boy reportedly tried to break the record but failed, because bad weather prevented them from reaching Antarctica.
