got a "new" 90s 12ch micro mackie (have two of them now!)... I needed to test it out and decided to made a quick 90s techno track from 90s sample CDs:

6 outs from the akai to the mackie and recorded directly from the mixer into ableton. no external fx, all from the akai fx board. sequenced with renoise on my 2014 macbook air.
