In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets:
in these last days, he has spoken to us through the Son.

Gospel: John 1:35-42
The next day again, John was standing with two of his disciples. And catching sight of Jesus walking, he said, 'Behold, the Lamb of God.' And two disciples were listening to him speaking. And they followed Jesus. Then Jesus, turning around and seeing them following him, said to them, 'What are you seeking?' And they said to him, 'Rabbi (which means in translation, Teacher), where do you live?' He said to them, 'Come and see.' They went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. Now it was about the tenth hour. And Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who had heard about him from John and had followed him. First, he found his brother Simon, and he said to him, 'We have found the Messiah,' (which is translated as the Christ). And he led him to Jesus. And Jesus, gazing at him, said: 'You are Simon, son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas,' (which is translated as Peter).

Saturday, January 4, 2025 - A moment with GOD through HIS WORD.

Reflection: How can I respond to Jesus’ invitation to come closer to Him and open my heart to the personal revelations He wants to share with me?

Prayer: Lord, You continuously invite me to come to You, to be with You and to sit with You in Your divine presence. Please help me to hear this gentle invitation of Your love. As I do, please open the eyes of my soul to see You, know You and love You more fully. And as I see You, give me grace and strength to follow You wherever You lead. Jesus, I trust in You.
