According to a statement issued to PEOPLE by a representative on behalf of both parties, it said: "Gigi Gorgeous and Nats Getty confirm they have amicably decided to part ways and officially file for divorce.

"While they have decided to end their marriage, they remain friends and have the [utmost] love and respect for each other."

Nats Getty filed for divorce on Wednesday, July 2, in Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.
