This lively tarantella for piano solo is written in a romantic style. The piece starts with the main theme which is playful and spirited. This then opens out into a broader flowing section with arpeggiated chords. A delicate section follows with a quieter and more thoughtful theme with simple chordal accompaniment. There is then a reprise of the original energetic theme to finish the piece. I hope that you enjoy listening to it and perhaps playing it too! I certainly had a lot of fun writing it - I think that it is one of my favourite piano pieces that I have written so far.
