The Bristol Music Trust team took our Thank You For The Music campaign to Westminster and called on the Government to match the £10m proposed by Bristol City Council to #transformthehall

The event was hosted by Stephen Williams (Liberal Democrat MP for Bristol West), who called on all assembled to “speak with one voice” on behalf of the campaign. Key music industry figures and MPs met at the House of Commons to hear speeches on the Trust’s ambitious plans and were also treated to an acoustic performance by contemporary folk musician Seth Lakeman.

The event saw Bristol MPs from all three political parties backing the campaign, with speeches from our host, Stephen Williams, alongside Dame Dawn Primarolo (Labour MP for Bristol South) and Charlotte Leslie (Conservative MP for Bristol North West).
