In a scrum team, a business analyst serves as a link between the product owner and the technical team. They complement and support the product owners by bringing a good product and system understanding as well as advising product owners on requirement analysis, scope, MVP, user stories, and prioritization.
During sprints, business analysts usually provide requirement clarifications and solutions to the team. In cases where product owner isn’t available, a business analyst usually steps in for the product owner.
