Trance Euphoria full mix + visuals - 💿🌐 Presenting 2 hours and 20 minutes of some of my favourite classic trance trax from the late 90s and early 2000s 💿🎚🎛🎚💿 Mixed all in key and structured as a big musical journey, slowly progressing in energy and moving through various different sounds, from bright and euphoric, progressive and melodic, moody and atmospheric and hard and fast.
I’ve been interested for a while in early 3D from the same era and how it’s so tied to electronic music of the time. While late 90s Jungle seems linked to Bryce3D and otherwordly landscapes ( ) Trance in my head is connected to sleek, curvy and futuristic abstract shapes very distinctive of Y2K design, especially on rave flyers. I learnt how to create this kind of art on Blender and made some renders to visualise the mix, tweaked to get the authentic 90s look.
For fun I also designed a CD of the mix inspired by CD and record designs from the original tracks, and featuring the renders I made to accompany the mix inside.
