Alright, here’s my take on James Gunn’s new Superman movie-- First off? It’s okay. Solid start for the new DCU. But man—it tries to cram way too much into one film. So many storylines that just needed more room to breathe. Honestly? It feels like this should’ve been a series. Let’s talk Jor-El and Lara. Their message to Kal?Was it all a lie? Is there redemption coming later? Who knows. Time will tell. And then there’s Hawkgirl. Did they really just say she killed a sovereign leader? Are we gonna address that? Or just forget about it? Krypto, though? Absolute scene-stealer. And Mr. Terrific? Fantastic debut. Nailed it. But let’s be real—the first act was the weakest part. If I were rewriting it? Easy. Cut that second Krypto trash joke, Add a heartfelt scene with the falafel guy who actually believes in Superman. Make that Kaiju fight set up Mr. Terrific’s gratitude better. And please—ditch the cringe harem joke. Instead? Make Superman’s surrender actually feel earned. Show us collateral damage that genuinely terrifies a bystander. That way? His choice hits way harder.
