This nest is unique. It was built by Spotted Eagles. But the married pair here is formed by birds of two species. The yellow-eyed male is a typical Lesser Spotted Eagle, and the dark-eyed female is a representative of a species that is disappearing in Europe - the Greater Spotted Eagle.
There is one chick in the nest with mixed characteristics.
The drainage of swamp forests has led to the fact that Greater Spotted Eagles
have become rare and in some places cannot meet their own kind, forming mixed pairs with Lesser Spotted Eagles.
6:16:30 - an adult bird arrived
The female brings food. And then immediately goes hunting again.
