For decades, humanity has been suffering from the attacks of huge monsters called Kaiju. Creepy monsters appear out of nowhere, and then they destroy entire cities and devour people. The government could not have watched the rampage of unknown monsters for so long, and therefore a special squad was created, which is armed with high-tech weapons. These guys destroy monsters quickly, and it's up to the cleaners to clean up the pile of leftover flesh and rivers of blood. Kafka Hibino has been working in the cleanup squad for a long time, but he dreamed of becoming a defender of humanity all his life. Recently, the cleaning team was joined by a new guy named Reno Ichikawa, who informed Hibino that recruitment to the defense forces was open and the guy had one last chance to fulfill a long-held dream. Kafka decides to gather all his strength into a fist and try to pass the exams, but suddenly a small kaiju attacks him in the hospital. The monster made its way through the man's mouth, which led to an unknown mutation.
