I first worked with the USA diva Lonnie Gordon when I mixed the twelve inch of NO REGRETS by Quartzlock. I then produced her in 1988 as the lead singer of OFFSHORE on a song called ALL WORK AND NO PLAY. Then in 2011 she came to me to cut two songs, STOP THIS MERRY GO ROUND and IT HURTS TO WALK AWAY. These were released as part of the 2020 box set MILLENIUM NORTHERN SOUL. I played STOP THIS MERRY GO ROUND at Skegness and it filled the floor. Since then Natalie Harrison turned it into a true turntable hit. Lonnie now lives in Las Vegas
