This is a combination music video and documentary. It's Dean De Benedictis' first successful attempt at improvising electronic ambient music at the rim of Mt. St. Helens.

The music was recorded as one stereo audio file, almost 20 minutes long. 3 minutes were chopped out of the middle of the song for the sake of this video.


This performance took place in Autumn of 2015, and was filmed, recorded and produced by Dean himself. To make the music, Dean used a Macbook Air, a mini keyboard controller, the software Ableton Live and softsynths called Saurus and Electra X (by Tone2). The score for this video is from that audio file, so the music you hear in this video was exactly as it sounded on St. Helens.
