Happy New Year and welcome to the thirteenth episode of the Cherry Red Radio show in association with Boogaloo Radio, Almost Blue Radio, Totally Radio, Bay FM, Kalypso Gold, Ship Full Of Bombs, WRFN1025, WRFNGOLD, Mad Wasp Radio and Target Radio.

Host Iain McNay is joined this month by Head of Press & Comms Matt Ingham for a look at all things Cherry Red and beyond. An eclectic show as always, this month we have choice cuts taken from upcoming releases from the likes of Be Bop Deluxe, Strawbs, Fraternity, The Almighty and J Mascis, alongside some deep catalogue treasures and music that has inspired us outside the Cherry Red family.

In the first of a new regular slot we'll be introducing a brand new track taken from the Tea Chest Tapes, Joe Meek's fabled collection of recordings that we've been working on since we became custodians in 2020. Cherry Red Radio is the only place you'll hear exclusive plays from this fascinating archive, alongside expert analysis by Alan Wilson from Western Star.

As usual Cherry Red Radio brings you two hours of music inspired by one of the most eclectic and prolific labels in the world.
