In 2021, Kutiman and his close friend, Ouzo Bazooka, engaged in extended jam sessions, some lasting for hours. This video captures one of those spontaneous musical explorations, offering a glimpse into their creative process.

ALIZA: A Mediterranean Sound Odyssey
This project is the creation of three longtime friends: Kutiman, known for his genre-blending work in psychedelic jazz, funk, and ambient music; Ouzo Bazooka, a master of Middle Eastern psychedelia and Balkan vibes; and their frequent collaborator Dekel, a key figure in the local funk and soul scene. After shaping the project together, they brought in the mesmerizing vocalist Lala Tamar to complete the group. Tamar’s Moroccan and Latin roots add a unique and enchanting layer to the music, making it truly one-of-a-kind.
