After creating the original AI-generated videos in Kaiber, I used Premiere Pro to edit them (e.g., changing the speed, reversing some clips, smoothing out the AI animation, doing some color matching between different clips, etc. )
The gentle piano song is by Jessica Yip and is the 38th song in my free background music series. We recorded it a few years ago, and it can be used for free in your videos for non-commercial projects (as well as in monetized YouTube videos) as long as you credit the artist. (Somewhere Deep in the Sea: Music composed and performed by Jessica Yip). You can download the song and find out more information on my website:
I had been working on using those video clips to accompany a fast rock song, but I couldn’t quite make that song work in the mix, so I used an older song with a totally different mood.
For inspiration, I used different styles in the prompts such as: CLAMP (for the colorful manga-style young women), Gustav Klimt (for a couple of the portraits and for the evolving ‘woodblock’ fox masks), Junji Ito (for the fierce-looking fox at the end—there were a few more interesting clips inspired by that artist that I had been rock version, but were too terrifying for this piano version) and Paul Klee for the patchwork style near the end. I also worked with some of Kaiber’s ‘house styles’. For more information about Kaiber AI (e.g., the things it does well and its limitations, you can refer to the article I wrote about producing the first video in the series:
The next AI video will be on the theme of ‘chrysalis’.
