While in the midst of a cake decorating demonstration at the café, the girls are uncharacteristically interrupted by an excited Princess Berrykin. She announces the Berrykins have decided to revive the old tradition of the Berry Bitty Buggy Derby. While the girls enthusiastically recount the stories they’ve heard about it and ask the Princess questions, Blueberry, carrying enough books to block her view, comes through the door and unknowingly interrupts the Princess. When she realizes it, she is mortified and apologizes. But the Princess is unoffended and good-naturedly teases her.
