Nowadays, public health and well-being have become key themes in the global development agenda. While maintaining a macro-level concern for global health, it is equally important to focus on micro-level practices. What is global health? What innovations are needed to advance global health? Dr. TANG Kun, Associate Professor of Vanke School of Public Health, Tsinghua University, shared compelling stories of leveraging innovation to improve the “last mile” of global health, highlighted efforts to tackle critical challenges in underserved African regions. Using innovative approaches and limited resources, he and his team have provided practical solutions to support those facing health inequalities, demonstrating how innovation can make a tangible difference in global health.
