In December of 2023, I wrote and directed a short film, got my friends to star in it or help out, and my dad and I worked together to build the main prop!It also wound up being such an apparent piece of garbage that not a single film festival took it all year - scores of rejections from festivals big and small. I sunk so much money into submissions that could have gone to something more beneficial, like a little automated hammer that taps your nutsack every 10 minutes.
