Author and philosopher Simon Critchley shares how he first met Dr. Cornel West: “A stretch limo paused on the street, and the driver asked, “Are you Dr. West? Where would you like to go? He was going to Toni Morrison’s birthday party. It was the coolest thing in the world.” The two long-term friends and thought partners join each other on stage to discuss Critchley’s latest book, On Mysticism: The Experience of Ecstasy, and the central themes that underpin it.
