In the icy ruins of a forgotten colony, the massive starship lay dormant, its engines silent for centuries. Once a beacon of hope, it now stood as a monument to humanity’s failed attempt to conquer the stars. Beneath the cold steel, whispers of ancient transmissions echoed, as if the ship itself mourned its lost crew. A lone explorer stumbled upon the vessel, their footsteps the first to disturb the snow in decades. As they reached out to touch the frozen hull, lights flickered to life, and a voice emerged from the void: "Welcome back, Captain."
