Rooted in the Bay Area and blooming in New York City, Samora Pinderhughes crafts tender alternative music rich with poetic wordplay. Each Pinderhughes release brings his poignant lyricism to the forefront. His 2024 album ‘Venus Smiles Not in the House of Tears’ is an honest and vulnerable exploration of one's emotional experience, unfolding through the paces of a failing relationship, while his 2022 release ‘GRIEF’ reflects on the prison industrial complex through melodic soundscapes. Nurturing vocals melt into the warm embrace of his live performance, uplifted by rich keys and plunging basslines. During his interview with Audiotree Host, Psalm One, Samora discusses his nonprofit The Healing Project, lessons from Juilliard, and James Baldwin. Check out Samora Pinderhughes on Audiotree Live!
