Macbook Keyboard last resort, possible fix, for a non working key.I found the X key not working, as my MacBook Pro 15' Retina (2015) A1398 model came from a 3rd party service provider. No liquids spill, no dust or sand, no physical damage on the key, or rubber underneath.
Keyboard Viewer indicated system was not receiving any info from it.
On opening the laptop the keyboard connecting cable was ok. Here is a possible solution that may help, even if only temporary.
