Episode 6 - Guadalupe Mountains National Park
We’re Brianne and Ben with our 2 dogs Bella and Bucky 🐶🐶
On this episode we drove from White Sands National Park to Anthony, Texas where we took a refreshing shower at a Love’s Travel Center and parked for the night at a Walmart where we were able to stock up on our depleted groceries.
After leaving Anthony, TX we drove to Guadalupe Mountains NP in hopes of hiking the Guadalupe Peak trail, however we didn’t make it there early enough to hike to the top. Which led us to hike the Devil’s Hall trail. This is a very unique trail thats 4.5 miles long and runs majority through a dry river bed.
Devil’s Hall is absolutely amazing with towering rocks that make a hallway.
After the hike, we cooked dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere. Being exhausted and no ideas as to where we would stay that night we were SO lucky to score a camp sight that someone purchased but didn’t show up for.
We spent the night in the pitch black and looked at the amazing stars in the night sky.
We woke up very early the next day and drove 8 hours to a suburb of Dallas to visit family.
Stay Tuned as next episode we drive the coast home and enjoy the beach.
