Irving described the incident as a reflection of America's divisive political climate, noting that it is a "powder keg" situation fueled by extreme partisan beliefs. He emphasized that the media's influence can exacerbate these tensions, leading individuals like Boelter to drastic measures. Irving expressed concern over the growing polarization in the country, suggesting it could lead to a "Civil War type deal." He noted the alarming nature of Boelter's actions, given his stable family and job. Both Irving and Shawn Prez hope for a less destructive resolution to political disagreements and urge people to critically evaluate the information they consume to prevent further escalation of violence.
