Liquids have a definite volume but not a definite shape since they assume the shape of the container. Gases do not have a definite volume or shape. Solids and gases are fluid which mean they have the ability to flow. Plasma is an ionized gas that can conduct electricity. Solids and liquids have a relatively high density and gases have a low density.
