This jam uses a sample from a film from the 1950s. The woman in the film was a research subject where they gave her LSD (acid!) and watched how she responded. You should watch it, she’s lush – she goes there.
The sample was chopped up in Ableton then sequenced in the Digitakt. One of the loops is nonsense (but sounded good), the others are her best bits. Digitakt is also on drums and sequencing the 0-Coast. Scanned and Basimilus Iteritas Altar are on the dirty beats and squelches. Last but not least, the Mono is producing the cathedral-like pads (with help from the RV-500), as well as sequencing the modular rig.
I feel like I have found a setup where the Mono Station is fully complimented by the gear around it. Not too complex and each sound has its place.
