Surveillance Video: Marathon Gas Station Robbery Suspects

The Hollywood Police Department is searching for the suspects who committed a robbery and then struck the victim with their vehicle.

On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 9:15 p.m. two suspects arrived at the Marathon Gas Station located at 3034 Johnson Street in Hollywood, FL. The suspects were driving a silver 4-door Toyota. The first suspect is described as a white male with a beard, hair in a bun and a tattoo on the right side of his neck. This suspect walks by the front entrance of the gas station and then gets back into the vehicle.

The second suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male with long black hair and a beard. He was wearing a red and white shirt. The suspect befriended the victim as the victim was changing the oil on his vehicle. As the victim leaned over the hood of his car, the suspect snatched his wallet out of his back pocket and ran into the waiting car.

The suspect got into the driver’s seat as the victim approached the driver’s side door. The suspect then reversed the car, striking the victim with the driver’s side door and running over him. The vehicle then fled eastbound on Johnson Street.
