Starting at Cal Anderson Park, and marching to the Seattle Center.

There's a lot of media going around both on social and from news outlets portraying agitators who are not part of the protests as representatives of the protests, and the chaos resulting from those agitators being framed as the result of the now international protests taking place.

That matters, because it's the excuse used to order violent crackdowns on our rights to assembly and speech. This political theatre has already been used in Los Angeles to give justification to co-opting control of, and federalizing, the California National Guard. When those troops were left with nothing to do and sleeping on the floor of the federal building, to the pointless cost of roughly $134 million, roughly 700 Marines were sent in for the same. But this gives the narrative that the military is "needed" to shut down non-existent mass rioting.

I don't see any reason to expect Trump's regime to slow down. Narcissists love having a spectacle to celebrate themselves, and an international protest on the day of his military parade birthday celebration seems an easy pick to coincide with an expansion of his crack down on peaceful assembly and protest.

I won't change that narrative myself, but in streaming and publishing this, I can help contribute to countering that narrative.

If things go as expected, which they probably will, then this will serve as a live, uninterrupted, publicly available documention of peaceful protesting, as has been shown by countless people live streaming the protests in LA already.

If a violent crackdowns ensues, then it will serve as a more complete, unedited and therefore indisputable record of what happened in as much as has been able to be captured on camera; separate from the contextless video crops that conflate aggressors and protestors, and violent assaults by officers, on horseback trampling people down underfoot, taking pot shots at women outside their homes, and actively targeting journalists and their teams, as "law enforcement."
