In Reichenwalde, Brandenburg, the world's largest mobile machine is used in open-cast mining: the F60 overburden conveyor bridge. Since the 1970s, the metal colossus has been transporting up to 90,000 tons of earth per shift to uncover lignite. This means that the F60 plays an essential role in coal extraction and the surrounding power plants depend on it. This documentary presents the gigantic machine and explains how the overburden bridge works.
