For this video, I wrote 10 texts about different topics talking about daily life situations, news, etc. I am reading slowly to help you understand better.

Text 1:
During the week, I get up at 6:30 am, take a shower and breakfast and leave for work around 7:15 am.
It takes me about 45 minutes to get to my company by 8 a.m., but sometimes I'm late because of traffic jams.
Around 10 am, I go to the break room for a coffee.
Then I have lunch with my colleagues around 12:15 in the canteen of my company, but sometimes we also go to the restaurant to eat a “plat du jour”.
We come back to the office around 1:30 pm and work until 5:30 pm.

Text 2:
Martin moved to Paris in 2018, to learn French and find a job there.
From Berlin, Germany, he had been fascinated by French culture since he was a teenager and had long dreamed of coming to live in France.
Now, four years later, he speaks fluently French.
He found a job in a marketing company and married Julie, a French woman, in 2021. The couple recently had their first child.
Little Tobias was born healthy on April 13, 2022, and weighed four kilos at birth.

Text 3:
Paul lives in a house near Lake Annecy. He has one brother and two sisters. His father is a doctor and his mother is a nurse.
Paul is the youngest in his family, he likes to play soccer, watch cartoons and take care of his adorable guinea pig.
He would also like to have an aquarium with fish and shrimp, but his parents think he is still too young to take care of it because he is only ten years old.
Passionate about animals, the young boy is sad and hopes that his parents will soon change their minds.
Paul will have to wait, but his family might surprise him on his birthday to congratulate him on his good grades at school.

Text 4:
Lucie just came back from school; she puts her school bag on the living room table and jumps on the sofa.
Her brother Quentin is watching Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, a movie Lucie loves, she has already seen it ten times.
Their mother is in the kitchen preparing food.
She's cooking a "duck à l'orange" with mashed potatoes. Lucie and Quentin's stomachs are rumbling as the smell of the food spreads through the living room.
But the two children will have to wait for their daddy to come home to sit down to eat.

Text 5:
I just returned from my vacation in Spain. I spent eight days in Barcelona at my friend Joel's place. He has a beautiful apartment with a balcony and a wonderful view.
We visited many famous tourist places. My favorite visit was to the Sagrada Familia, a beautiful basilica whose construction started in 1882.
I took about 100 pictures during my stay.
Joel also introduced me to the local cuisine, we ate in delicious and not-too-expensive restaurants.
I liked Barcelona so much, that I already plan to go back next year.

Text 6 :
Julien decided to participate to the Paris Marathon, which will be held on April 2, 2023.
This is quite a challenge for the 22-year-old, as he is not very active and has gained weight in recent years.
Luckily, his best friend, Marc, is there to motivate him.
Marc, who has already completed several marathons, provided him a training program to help him get ready and finish the 42 km.
With five sessions per week, Julien has a good chance of finishing the race in under four hours.

Text 7:
Gaston just woke up, he is excited because today he is going fishing for the first time with his father.
Until now, Robert always refused to take his son with him, because he couldn't swim.
But Gaston's aunt paid him swimming lessons last month, and now he's like a duck to water when he goes to the pool.
Robert prepared three fishing rods, two for him and a small one for Gaston. They have maggots and earthworms.
Gaston can't wait to catch his first fish, and Robert is happy to finally go fishing with his son.

Text 8:
Elena is not feeling well today, she has a stomach ache since this morning and has already thrown up twice at school.
Her mom Laura came to pick her up with her car to take her to Dr. Krieger immediately.
After a thirty-minute wait, it is Elena's turn to be examined by the doctor. He presses on her stomach to see where the pain comes from.
He then asks Elena what she ate last night. The little girl looks at her mom and confesses that she had eaten some chocolate in secret before going to sleep.
The doctor smiles and reassures Laura, that her daughter has nothing serious, and advises to give her some ginger tea to make the indigestion go away.
