The Marauders were from Salem, Ohio, active from 1964 to 1968. This teen band included three brothers who were students at West Branch High School located outside of Salem. In late '67 they recorded a 45 at Akron Recording, coupling a nice midtempo original "When You Said To Me" (written by Mark Weingart) and a boss version of the Isley Brothers' "Hold On Baby"!
The single was released on Eastwood, the same label that issued The Interns' "I've Got Something To Say" (compiled on Back From The Grave) and
The Diamond Rings' "Which End Is Up"!
