-- ENG -- With new album Harbingers, @ByzantineTV has created what may be the crown jewel of their impressive seven studio album discography. And frontman and founding member Chris Ojeda states : “After 25 years of riding the struggle bus, we’re ready to show the rock and metal world what we’re truly about. We’ve put all our chips on the table with Harbingers.” Launched in 2000 in Western Virginia state (USA), and after several periods of split and internal tensions, BYZANTINE evolved progressively towards a mature technical groove/thrash metal with progressive influences, that's the case to say it !! Some influences here and there, like TOOL, CARNIVOOL, PAIN OF SALVATION but also more direct "in your face metal" like PANTERA, EXHORDER or CORONER stuff ! Listen to this fresh and ambitious new studio record named Harbingers (@metalbladerecords). No plans for European shows now in 2025, but we hope it ! A big thanks here to Chris Ojeda (guitars/clean vocals) for this interesting talking fom his home studio.

-- FR -- Avec Harbingers, BYZANTINE a créé ce qui pourrait bien être le joyau de son impressionnante discographie de sept albums studio. Chris Ojeda, leader et membre fondateur, déclare : « Après 25 ans de lutte acharnée, nous sommes prêts à montrer au monde du rock et du metal ce que nous sommes vraiment. Nous avons misé sur Harbingers. » Lancé en 2000 en Virginie-Occidentale (États-Unis), après plusieurs périodes de split et de tensions internes, BYZANTINE a progressivement évolué vers un groove/thrash metal mature plus technique aux influences progressives, c'est le cas de le dire ici ! Quelques influences ici et là, comme TOOL, CARNIVOOL, PAIN OF SALVATION, mais aussi du « in your face metal » plus direct, comme PANTERA, EXHORDER ou CORONER ! Écoutez ce nouvel album studio frais et ambitieux intitulé Harbingers. Pas de concerts européens prévus pour 2025, mais on l'espère !
