A long time ago, since my early childhood, I was inspired by the mystical and terrifying soundscapes of horror films and thrillers. Mysticism, art-house, gloomy psychedelia, these films always have very touching and emotional soundtracks. One of my favorite composers is Krzysztof Penderecki. I have always been deeply impressed by the depth of his compositions.
I recorded this track traditionally at midnight. Crickets chirped outside. I recorded these sounds of the night into a microphone, putting it out the window. Old children's vintage xylophone. And different effects.
Dissonance, darkness, an atmosphere of hopelessness and despair.
In this video, one of the brightest moments of memories of holidays at sea with my family. Odessa region. The small town Zatoka. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Walking with little daughter on my shoulders along the seashore. Emotions and feeling of the moment here and now. Dreams and plans. Laughter and carelessness.
