We are hopping into something very unusual. The secretly facelifted C8.5 Audi S6 for the 2023/24 model years. Let’s give this looker some attention. In 2019, Audi shocked the whole world when the ditched the amazing V8 4.0L TwinTurbo 450hp in the S6 C7 and replaced it with a 3.0 TDI Turbo Diesel engine with 349hp. That is in Europe. Since then, the S6 isn’t as cool any more. It’s a shame, because this is a great car. It just should have been called A6 Competition. It doesn’t feel like an S6, doest perform like one either.And the weirdest thing here on this minor facelift, is that the front badge doesn’t say ”S6” anymore, but just an ”S”. While the rear badge remains the same. And after the huge fake exhausts complains on the S6/S7 TDI, Audi ditches them fully in this small facelift and gave the diffuser just different design. I honestly don’t know if it looks any better. This car should not be called an S6. Period.
