Otras is David Reeves, a sadly unheralded and unknown master of nebulous synth squalls, jittery rhythmic pulsations and abstruse illbient atmospheres. in addition to the preceding "Otras" album, he also released two brilliant albums under his own name - "In Starless Space" and "Narcos" -
IMHO, if any of the innumerable progenitors and prodigies of the 90s underground electronic scene deserve far more attention, it's David Reeves! he occupies a singular niche all to himself, an ominous yet strangely comforting mélange of light and dark. one of my personal all-time favourites. enjoy!
