The United States has gone through several iterations of a doomsday plan to ensure that its government survives. Can the United States protect its chain of command and maintain an operational government during doomsday? In terms of the United States government’s doomsday plan, it doesn’t really matter who launches nukes, if aliens invade from outer space, or if some other end-of-world scenario occurs, as the plan to maintain the government would essentially be the same. So today we'll take a close look, and see just how the USA plans to survive.
