This snare drum packs a lot of bang for the buck and looks stunning. Tama Sound Lab Project -series, 14"x6", 10-mil 12-ply bubinga shell. This is also the first time in something like seven years that I have something else than coated emperors on my toms. I'm loving the brighter, more open sound, should've put clear emperors on the Oak custom a long time ago! Factory heads (Evans g1 coated/300 hazy) on the snare.
And of course I'm playing, loving and endorsing Impression cymbals! From my left to right: 15" Traditional hihat, 18" Traditional thin crash, 21" Mixed med-thin ride, 17" Hollister crash, customized 20" Smooth ride.
This massive sounding tuning makes one need to play bonham-ish stuff. And record silly videos.
