Santa Monica Beach Destination Weddings by the Officiant Guy

Officiant Guy: Your customer copy, so romantically entitled. It's important though because this is the copy you'll keep today as your immediate temporary proof of your wedding for things like insurance and banking.

And before I put it on the original I want to confirm that that's how you'll be changing your name. And you'll need to wait for your certified copies (of the marriage license) to do that. The certified copy will take...the County says 6-8 weeks, but because I file everything in person it usually takes 5-6 weeks. But this will be proof or everything other than the government.

And I'll be able to send you instructions on how to go about changing your name. It's not very hard, but it's not something you do every day, and it's Social Security first, Department of Motor Vehicles second. But I'll send you instructions including a form that you can use for Social Security and that will save you some time.

Officiant Guy: When did you get into town?
Bride: Last night
Officiant Guy: Oh, okay. And how long will you be here?
Bride: We're leaving tonight.
Officiant Guy: Really!
Bride: That's why we wanted this so close to the airport.

Officiant Guy: I'm going to put my thongs on.

Wedding Ceremony:

At the end of this ceremony legally you will be man and wife, but you still must decide each day that stretches out before you, that you want to be married.
