On November 15, 2019, the seminary hosted a Gold Mass in the Chapel of St. Joseph to honor the role of science and scientists in the Church. This Mass concluded the Science Enhances Faith Symposium.

Presider and homilist: Fr. David Brown, S.J. Vatican Observatory. Fr. Brown completed his doctoral studies in astrophysics at the University of Oxford, and joined the Vatican Observatory in 2008. He works on various aspects of stellar evolution, and serves as caretaker of the telescopes of the Vatican Observatory in Castel Gandolfo.
