-- ENG -- Russ Ballard is a renowned British guitarist/singer/songwriter/producer. He is one of the legends of those who have known it all, seen it all. He has composed timeless standards that have stood the test of time. An impressive career when you consider that he started in 1961, writing his first song for The Shadows in 1964 at the age of 14. At the age of 79, he shared the same stages as The Beatles and was covered by Kiss, Rainbow, Ace Frehley, Alcatrazz, Impelliteri, Brian May (Queen) and many others... He produced Roger Daltey, worked with Ringo Starr (ex-The Beatles), recorded 10 solo albums. Russ BALLARD offers us in 2025 a double album Songs From The Warehouse/The Hits Rewired: a first disc composed of 13 new songs, and a second where he has re-recorded some of his great classics (“Since You’ve Been Gone“ or “God Gave Rock And Roll To You“). Here is our interview with a monument of rock with a capital “R”, who, at 79 years old, is preparing to travel the European roads at the end of April 2025. Just a great artist like we very rarely come across! It is often said that Rock preserves, no doubt Russ is the perfect example. An interview that takes us to the confines of the history of Rock. -- FR -- Russ BALLARD est un guitariste/chanteur/compositeur/producteur britannique de renom, et fait partie des légendes de ceux qui ont tout connu, tout vu. Il a composé des standards intemporels qui ont traversés le temps. Un parcours impressionnant quand on sait qu’il a débuté en 1961, écrivant son premier titre pour THE SHADOWS en 1964 à l’âge de 14 ans. A l'âge de 79 printemps, celui qui a partagé les même scènes que THE BEATLES et a été repris par KISS, RAINBOW, Ace FREHLEY, ALCATRAZZ, IMPELLITERI, Brian May (QUEEN) et bien d’autres... Il a produit Roger Daltey travaillé avec Ringo Starr (ex-THE BEATLES), enregistré 10 albums solos. Russ BALARD nous propose en 2025 un double album Songs From The Warehouse/The Hits Rewired : un premier disque composé de 13 nouveaux morceaux, et un second ou il a réenregistré quelques un de ses grands classiques (“Since You’ve Been Gone“ ou “God Gave Rock And Roll To You“).
