Kakarot was sent off planet by his parents, Bardock and Gine who were attempting to save him from the potential doom of their entire race and Planet Vegeta. Which ultimately happens when Frieza, the Emperor of the Universe, blows up the planet with a giant Death Ball, now watch the video and enjoy the ride!
