Moreover, James transported Sonam's jewellery from Indore to Ratlam, where her in-laws live, and the police later recovered Sonam and Raja's jewellery from there. James also revealed that Sonam stayed at his flat after the murder. James' arrest came on charges of concealing and destroying evidence, and the Shillong police also recovered Sonam's bag and laptop from her in-laws' house in Ratlam.
