About The Meeks Duo:

Married Vancouver-based pianists Scott Meek and Clare Yuan are The Meeks Duo, an acclaimed four-hands piano duo whose aim is to make every performance a uniquely enjoyable experience. Already well-established performers in Canada, Scott and Clare recently made their Asian debut with concerts in Japan and Taiwan, including at the prestigious Taipei National Concert Hall.

At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic isolation period, they performed 22 weekly concerts from their home between March and August 2020.

Currently, they are producing music-video style recordings from their home including many brand new arrangements!

The Meeks Duo has a repertoire covering all periods and styles, including classical masterpieces, Christmas music, tangos, and transcriptions by the Meeks. In concert, they entertain and inform with stories and anecdotes, and are always eager to surprise their audience with mid-performance antics.

1) Be respectful and kind to other people. It’s ok to disagree and discuss your opinions, but insulting others is not ok. Also refrain from prying or asking for personal information.

2) Don’t spam links, comments, or pings. I reserve the right to choose which comments I respond to and pinging other people incessantly is annoying.

3) Don’t troll. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not or try to stir up controversy and don’t send sketchy links in chat.

4) Please don’t promote your own or other people’s channels unless it’s relevant to the stream ie. I ask for videos to review or you mention someone to make a point

5) Please keep the discussion relatively family friendly ie. nothing NSFW and keep the profanity low. Not going to be a super stickler about this, but bear in mind that some of my audience is a bit younger.

6) If you donate, you are also agreeing to no chargebacks. This VOD will be used in case of a dispute.

7) The first violation of these rules will result in a 30 second timeout. After that, you will be banned from the chat. My mods and I also reserve the right to ban anyone even without issuing a timeout
